These are the terms for using crochee.com. Plain English, no padding. If you use the site, you are agreeing to them.

Who runs Crochee

Crochee is run by Muntaseer Rahman. I buy original crochet patterns from experienced crocheters and publish them here for free. You can reach me through the Contact page.

The patterns are free to use

Every pattern on this site is free to follow, and you are free to sell what you make from it.

Patterns come with no guarantee

Each pattern is worked and photographed by the crocheter who designed it, so every one has been made at least once before it reaches you.

Even so, yarn weight, hook size, stuffing and your own tension all change the result. Your finished piece may come out a different size or shape than mine, and I cannot promise otherwise.

If something in a pattern looks wrong, tell me. I would rather fix it than leave it up.

Safety, especially on the small pieces

A lot of what I publish is small: keychains, charms, bag hangers, tiny amigurumi. Those are not toys for babies or children under three.

Beads, safety eyes, split rings and small stuffed parts are choking hazards. If you are making something for a small child, use embroidered eyes instead of plastic ones, leave off the hardware, and sew every piece down firmly.

Use your own judgement. You are responsible for what you make and who you give it to.

Comments and anything you send me

Keep comments civil and on topic. I remove spam, self-promotion and abuse.

If you send me a pattern, a photo or a correction, you are giving me permission to use it on the site with credit where it is due. Please do not send me anything that is not yours to send.

Ads and affiliate links

Crochee carries display ads and affiliate links, and that is what keeps the patterns free. The details are on the Affiliate Disclosure page.

Links to other sites

Some posts link out to other blogs, shops and suppliers. I do not control those sites and I am not responsible for their content or for what they do with your data.

Limits

Crochee is a pattern blog, not professional advice. I work to keep it accurate and online, but I cannot promise it is error free or always available.

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss that comes from using this site or the patterns on it.

Changes to these terms

I update these terms when the site changes. The date below is the last time I did.
